The idea
There are images we never truly look at. Paintings glimpsed in a book, a museum, on a screen — half-seen, forgotten, yet lingering somewhere. Halfseen exists for those images. We curate works of art — misty landscapes, silent interiors, uncertain light — and turn them into wearable pieces. A gallery on a t-shirt.

- What exactly is a Halfseen t-shirt?
- Each t-shirt is a numbered entry in the Archive: a heavyweight white oversized tee, printed with an original watercolour landscape across the back and the entry name discreetly on the chest. Cotton is 240g+, the collar is ribbed and reinforced, and the shoulders drop.
- How does the sizing run?
- The fit is intentionally oversized, so take your usual size for the intended drape. If you prefer a closer fit, size down. Chest and length measurements for every size are listed in the size guide on each product page.
- What does limited edition mean here?
- Every entry is issued in a fixed number of copies. Your individual number is assigned at checkout and appears on your order summary. Once every copy is issued, the entry is closed and never reprinted.
- Where are the t-shirts printed and shipped from?
- Printing and fulfilment happen in Europe. Orders leave within 3 to 5 business days, with tracked shipping at 2.99 €. Most European deliveries arrive within 3 to 7 business days.
- Can I return an order?
- Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return an unworn item in its original condition, in line with EU distance-selling rules. Payments are handled by Stripe; refunds return to the original payment method.
- How should I care for the print?
- Wash inside out at 30 °C, avoid bleach and tumble drying, and iron on the reverse only. The watercolour print keeps its depth for years when treated that way.
